Pastoral Care

Houses and Pastoral Care Structures

There are four Houses through the College (Prep to year 12) and the students remain in the one House during their time at Faith. They are Coochiemudlo (red), Macleay (green), Peel (yellow) and Russell (blue).

Pastoral Care Groups (PCGs)in the Senior School are grouped vertically with students from Year 10, 11 and 12 in each of the 12 Pastoral Care Groups.

PCGs meet every morning at 8.30am and their activities include devotional worship, information sharing and general organisation. Lessons are also timetabled where the students deal with issues such as school policy (eg behaviour management, anti-harrassment, use of student diary, social skills) and preparation for major events such as cultural or sporting events and FunFest.

Each House in Senior School has staff who oversee activities and, in addition, are supported by a Head of House. Contact for student issues should be with the student’s PCG Teacher.
