Interviews for the 2014 Prep intake will be conducted during Term 1 and 2 in 2013.  To avoid disappointment please ensure that you have enrolled your child for Prep Year 2014 and beyond.

Limited spaces are available in some classes for students in Year 7 to Year 12 in 2013 and beyond. Parents of students enrolled for Year 7 and 8 in 2014 can expect to be contacted during Term 1/2013 for an interview.

Enrolment Procedures
Faith Lutheran College, Redlands is run by the Lutheran Church of Australia. Students shall be eligible for acceptance regardless of race, colour and creed.

Student intake occurs at Prep Year and Year 7 with enrolment in other year levels dependent on student numbers. This will be reviewed as demand for placements dictate. Once a child is enrolled at Faith Lutheran College, Redlands the enrolment stands from Prep Year to Year 12.

Enrolment Priority
When applications exceed the number of available places, preference will be given to students from families where at least one parent is an active member of the Lutheran Church and to those students whose brother(s) or sister(s) attend Faith Lutheran College, Redlands.

Termination of Enrolment
The Principal may terminate the enrolment of any child should the continued enrolment of that child be regarded as prejudicial to the distinctive aims of the College.

Initially, an Enrolment Application Form accompanied by an application fee is to be submitted. An enrolment interview with the Principal or Head of School is then held, normally during the year prior to entry.

Acceptance of a place requires a commitment from parents to work together with the College for the education of their child. It also involves a preparedness to co-operate with the College in matters of policy and procedure and to pay fees when they are due.

The acceptance of an offer of a place at Faith Lutheran College, Redlands is to be accompanied by an enrolment bond. This is repaid when the child leaves the College provided one full term's notice has been given and all financial commitments have been cleared with the College.

Ability, Readiness and Age of Commencement

One of the main points of enrolment into the College is via the Prep Year class.   Children are able to start Prep Year in the year they turn five years old, provided they are five by the cut off dates of birth:

Prep Year 2013 - cut off date of birth 30/6/2008
Prep Year 2014 - cut off date of birth 30/6/2009
Prep Year 2015 - cut off date of birth 30/6/2010
Prep Year 2016 - cut off date of birth 30/6/2011
Prep Year 2017 - cut off date of birth 30/6/2012
Prep Year 2018 - cut off date of birth 30/6/2013

 Other factors taken into consideration:
